Obesity has long been associated with a variety of damage to organs such as heart and metabolic systems. Hence, obesity is believed to lead to many chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disorders, diabetes mellitus and cancer.
Experts recommend diet and exercise as the most effective way to lose weight and reduce the risk of these diseases. At a young age, and weight reduction pemiluhan damaged organs are possible.
However, you should never put off, because John Hopkkins University study suggests that the damage could be permanent if it is too late. While still young, it is better not delay efforts to lose weight.
The study showed that the stiffness of the heart and blood vessels that affect diastolic function decreases when a group of young test mice underwent weight-loss program. But in the test mice were older, it was not reduced stiffness.
This research shows that the longer the rats were in a state of obesity, the greater the risk of damage to the heart become ireversible (can not be recovered).
Of course, these results should not be interpreted as a suggestion for people who are already parents to not have to exercise. Sports will still be worthwhile, but if you can start from now for any delay to the old?
