Asparagus Consumption Can Lower Hypertension

In the treatment of hipertensi many safe and healthy recommendations from experts. With the application of proper hipertensi can be reduced and cured. Recently been found also an alternative for lowering high blood pressure. The alternative is called asparagus. The bud-shaped vegetables that are green and white. With a crisp texture and slightly sweet, the vegetables turned out to have a high nutrient content. And a study has found that asparagus can cure hypertension.

Researchers from Japan found other benefits of asparagus. These vegetables can help lower high blood pressure. This time the research team involving several experimental rats with high blood pressure causing hypertension.

Then the mice were divided into two groups. Diet with asparagus and a standard diet without asparagus. After doing research for 10 weeks, the mice were given a diet asparagus blood pressure is lower. While the rats were given a standard diet did not change blood pressure or keep it high.

Asparagus diet mice also had fewer protein levels in the urine. It marked if healthy rat kidney. Performance of ACE (angiotensin-converting enzyme) that causes constriction of blood vessels and can cause hypertension also inhibited.
High blood pressure can be decreased.

The team of researchers also mention if hydroxynicotianamine compound in asparagus that are responsible for inhibiting ACE performance. Although not a lot of literature that says hydroxynicotianamine benefits, but the research team believe if these compounds can inhibit ACE work.

Apparently the result of this study is called still too early if hydroxynicotianamine the same effect in humans. But if true, asparagus can be used as a new drug to treat hypertension.
